Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign midfielder Tijani Reinders from AC Milan for a fee believed to be in the region of €70m (£59m).

According to Sky Sport Italia, last week, the Rhiners have accepted personal terms offered by City. Which is a long-term deal that will double their salary from €3.5m-a-year to €7m-a-year (around £5.9m-a-year/around £123,000-a-week). UFABET แทงบอล

The two clubs have finally agreed on a fee for the player. Which is 70 million euros, including performance/achievement options. Originally, the ‘Sky Blues’ offered 60 million euros. Which was rejected, while Milan asked for 75 million euros, which City considered too expensive.

The 26-year-old is a target for Manchester City as they look to replace Kevin De Bruyne, whose contract expires at the end of the 2024-25 season.

The Dutchman has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season and was voted in the Serie A Team of the Year. But Milan have been forced to sell the Riders to help the club. Having missed out on a place in the 2025-26 Champions League.

In addition to the Dutch midfielder, Milan will also sell goalkeeper Mike Maignan and left-back Theo Hernandez.

Reijnders, according to the tweet, has also already agreed personal terms with the Manchester outfit, too. Meaning there is one less thing required to be completed before the deal is finalised. Unfortunately, it now seems like a case of when and not if, just as Ruud Gullit stated last week.
