Duberry has joined Brighton after leaving Arsenal

Amario Cozier-Duberry, the young winger nicknamed “New Saka”, has joined Brighton on a four-year deal after leaving Arsenal.

Cozier-Dubery has been in Arsenal’s youth system since 2019 and was name on the bench for the first team last season but has yet to make an appearance and has opted not to sign a new deal, which expires in June. 

The 19-year-old plays on the wing and has been praise for his style of play, similar to fellow youth player Bukayo Saka, who is also left-foot.

After rejecting a new contract, Cozier-Dubery has decide to accept Brighton’s offer, which could see him sign a four-year deal, and ยูฟ่าเบท the move was officially confirm on Sunday.

The 19-year-old did not make a senior appearance for Mikel Arteta’s side but was an unused substitute in eight first-team matches — including in November’s 2-0 Champions League home victory against Sevilla.

Cozier-Duberry, a winger who has also been deploy more centrally in an attacking midfield role, score 13 goals and contribute five assists in 24 appearances for Arsenal’s Under-21 side last season, and has been cappe by England up to under-19 level.

Brighton technical director David Weir welcome the 19-year-old winger, saying: “We are delight to be able to bring Amario to the club. He has the qualities that we love and we believe he is a player who can thrive in our environment.
